Protection of personal data – GDPR

As part of the use of our website and our contact form, we collect and process personal data concerning you. The purpose of this privacy policy is to inform you in a transparent manner about the nature of this data, the purposes of its processing, your rights and the means of exercising them.

This policy is established in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR – EU Regulation 2016/679 of 25 May 2018) and with French Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended, known as the "Data Protection Act".

Article 1 – Data controller

The controller of your personal data is FLD TECH, a simplified joint-stock company (SAS) with a share capital of €150,000, with registered office at 11 avenue du Général de Gaulle 54280 SEICHAMPS, registered with the Nancy Trade and Companies Register under number 880 748 397.

Article 2 – Data collected and purposes

We only collect the data strictly necessary for the intended purpose (principle of data minimisation). The table below summarises the data collected, its purpose and its legal basis.

Article 3 – Retention period

Your personal data is kept for the period strictly necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:

Contact form data: kept for 3 years from the last contact, in accordance with the recommendations of the CNIL (French Data Protection Authority).
Browsing data and analytics cookies: kept for a maximum of 13 months from the placement of the cookie, in accordance with the recommendations of the CNIL.

At the end of these periods, your data is deleted or anonymised.

Article 4 – Data recipients

Your personal data is intended exclusively for the authorised members of our company in connection with the handling of your requests.

It is not sold, rented, transferred or disclosed to third parties for commercial purposes.

4.1 – Technical subcontractors

We use technical service providers (host, audience analytics tool) who may have access to your data in connection with their assignment. These providers act as processors and are subject to strict contractual obligations of confidentiality and security.

4.2 – Transfer of data outside the EU

In principle, your personal data is processed and stored within the territory of the European Union. As an exception, your personal data may be transferred outside the European Union, in particular through our subcontractors.

Where applicable, the data transfer will be governed by tools compliant with the GDPR, in particular by means of adequacy decisions adopted by the European Commission on the basis of Article 45 of the GDPR in order to establish that a country outside the European Union ensures an adequate level of protection of personal data.

If an adequacy decision does not apply, the international data transfer will then be governed by the standard contractual clauses in force, as adopted by the European Commission on the basis of Article 46 of the GDPR, together with a transfer impact assessment.

Article 5 – Cookies

5.1 – What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit our site. It allows the site to recognise your device and to store certain information relating to your browsing.

Right to portability: you can receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Right to object: you can object to the processing of your data, in particular for prospecting purposes.
Right to withdraw your consent: where processing is based on your consent (analytics cookies), you can withdraw it at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out before that withdrawal.

Article 7 – Data security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of your personal data and to protect it against any unauthorised access, loss, destruction or alteration.

However, no transmission of data over the Internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure. In the event of a data breach likely to create a risk to your rights and freedoms, we undertake to inform you as soon as possible, in accordance with Article 34 of the GDPR.

Article 8 – Amendment of the privacy policy

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy at any time, in particular in order to comply with any new applicable regulations. The applicable version is the one published online on the Website on the date of your consultation.

Any substantial change will be notified to you, as far as possible, by e-mail or by a notice visible on the Website. The update date appears in the header of the document.
